Astrological Chart Mandala by Laura Hamilton
The Harlow Gallery’s Education Committee hosts SECOND SUNDAYS, a monthly series of free community art-making events sponsored by The Bank of Maine.
April’s Second Sunday is on April 12th from 2-4pm, join Laura Hamilton, Yoga Teacher/Astrologer and Rose Swan, Constellation Consultant to create an image of your own personal mandala. We will be using your birth wheel as a jumping of point for images to create your sacred circle. The mandala can be used as a meditation tool to bring integration into consciousness. It will be helpful if you have your date of birth, place and time, but not essential. Feel free to bring your own art supplies or use what is available at the harlow. A mandala can be made simply with pen or pencil and paper or using paints, collage or mixed media.
Mark your calendars and look forward to activities on the second Sunday of every month at the Harlow. These events bring artists and art lovers together to enjoy the process of making art as well as looking at art and discussing it. Many of the events are perfect for families, and all are welcome. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by a care-giver. These sessions take place every 2nd Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the Harlow Gallery, and are free and open to the public. Some materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own as well. Let’s get creative!
Sponsored by our hometown bank, The Bank of Maine!
