17th Annual Young at Art K-8 (Online Exhibition)

17th Annual Young at Art K-8 (Online Exhibition)

Our 17th Annual Young at Art (K-8 Exhibition) has been cancelled due to COVID-19.

We are certainly sad to miss the show this year and we want to thank the students and teachers for all the work they put into the artworks that were supposed to be included in this show.

Online exhibit: In an effort to honor our young artist’s work and keep them engaged with art during this time we have put together an online exhibition. We’ll continue to add more images as they are received.

Online art class: Additionally, we will be offering an online art class lead by our board president, Helene Farrar, a wonderful artist and teacher. Once that video is ready it will be posted here as well as shared directly with our participating teachers and students.
Additionally, any artworks created as a result of her class can be sent to us to post online as well.

2020 marks the 17th year for the Harlow’s annual Young at Art K-8 Exhibition. The show had originally been scheduled for April 4-May 9 but has been cancelled due to the growing COVID-19 outbreak. Each year The Harlow invites art teachers from elementary and middle schools from throughout the greater Augusta area to select their best student art to showcase in this community celebration of talented art students and of the importance of arts in education.
