2nd Sundays: Ross Grams Demo 2/8

The Harlow Gallery’s Education Committee presents SECOND SUNDAYS, a series of community art-making events open to everyone. February’s event on Sunday the 8th, 2-4pm is Ross Grams Digital Art Speed Painting Demonstration.

Participants are encouraged to bring the sketching materials they are most comfortable with, be it a sketchbook and a pencil, a portable painting kit, or digital painting tools (basic pencils and paper will be available at the gallery).

Ross Grams is a digital illustrator, concept artist and painter from Vienna, Maine. Check out his website rossgrams.com — then come watch him in action. He will be demonstrating speed painting strategy and techniques, as well as discussing practical information about working as a freelance artist in the entertainment industry. Following the demo and discussion there will be a 30-minute sketch session with the participants.  This event is recommended for ages 10 and up.

Many of the events are perfect for families, but children under 10 MUST be accompanied by a care-giver. These sessions take place every 2nd Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the Harlow Gallery, and are free and open to the public. Some materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own as well. Let’s get creative!  Donations to support gallery programs like Second Sundays are always welcome!
