Annual Holiday Members’ Show & Sale

On view: Dec. 22, 2017 – Jan. 20, 2018
Opening reception: Fri., Dec. 22, 5-7pm, 2017

The Harlow Gallery presents their last annual Members’ Holiday Art Show & Sale to be held at the original location of 160 Water Street in Hallowell before they move down the street to 100 Water Street.

This exhibition celebrates the diverse artwork styles of Harlow Gallery’s artist members and is a holiday tradition dating back to the founding of the Harlow Gallery in 1963. During this exhibit work by Maine artists representing a wide range of media can be purchased off the wall and taken home the same day. The public is invited to visit the Harlow Gallery and support local artists by choosing unique and handcrafted gifts this holiday season. Exhibitions are always free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 12-6pm.

Harlow Gallery is home to the Kennebec Valley Art Association, a membership based 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to connecting and celebrating art, artists and community in central Maine since 1963.

Exhibitions and other programming at the Harlow Gallery have been made possible by major support from The Liberal Cup and The Maine House, and from our Patron of the Arts Sponsors: Camden National Bank and the City of Hallowell.

2018 Season Sponsors for 2018 are Book Orchard Press, Capitol Dental Care, Chris Walters Productions, Doug & Melinda Jennings, Eaton Peabody Attorneys at Law, Kennebec Savings Bank, Scrummy Afters Candy Shoppe, Slates Restaurant and Target Electric Corporation.

Programs at the Harlow Art Center are funded in part by a Partnership Grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and by a generous gift from the Roxanne Quimby Foundation, Inc.
