apparent contradictions

Opening Friday, September 5, 5-7pm, ArtTalk 7-8pm
Jacob Fall, an independent curator based in southern Maine, is pleased to announce that he will be organizing an exhibition of the work of Freeport artist James Chute at the Harlow Gallery in Hallowell, Maine September 5-27, 2014.
In apparent contradictions Fall attempts to demonstrate the links between two disparate bodies of work by Chute: several collaborative drawing projects in one hand, and a multi-year series of abstract paintings on the other.
