CSA II @ Maine Farmland Trust Gallery

Maine Farmland Trust, in partnership with the Harlow Gallery/Kennebec Vallery Art Association, present CSA II – one of three exhibitions of work by 13 Maine artists who have been partnered with CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farms throughout the 2017 growing season. Meet the artists and farmers at the opening reception on Friday, September 22, from 5-8pm with a gallery talk at 5pm. Maine Farmland Trust is located at 97 Main Street in Belfast; the exhibition is on view from September 22 through November 10, 2017.

The Bookey Readings: Honoring Russell Libby

On October 13th at 7pm, the Harlow Gallery’s Bookey Readings at the Harlow will host an evening of song and poetry celebrating the late Russell Libby. This is a public reading in which people are invited to either read a poem by Russell Libby, or read a poem that honors the rich culture of Maine’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farming community which he so loved and supported through this work and art. Refreshments are served. A $3 donation is appreciated at the door to benefit the Harlow Gallery.

Saturday, October 14, beginning at 5pm at Vaughan Homestead. You are invited to join artists and farmers participating in Harlow Gallery’s CSA II: Community Supporting Arts project for an evening celebrating the project, which matched 13 artists with 13 CSA farms across Maine. Pack a picnic and your picnic blanket for an evening of music, film and art.  $10 at the door or $5 in advance.

In partnership with Engine, the Harlow Gallery/KVAA present an exhibition of work by 13 Maine artists who have been partnered with 13 Maine CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farms throughout the 2017 growing season. Meet the artists and farmers at the opening reception Friday, November 10 (time TBA). The exhibition is on view at 128 Main Street in Biddeford from November 10 through December 16, 2017.
