Community invited to collage at the Harlow

Do you have cabin fever?
We have the remedy for you and your family!
Come to the Harlow Gallery on Saturday, March 2 from 1-4 pm to experiment with the art of collage! All ages are welcome.

This is an opportunity to make a piece of art from all those mementos you have saved in a drawer or box — old calendar photos, wrapping paper, ticket stubs, or whatever –, now is the chance to put them to good use. We will supply guidance, glue, scissors, and markers. Please bring those aforementioned mementos along with paper, fabric, or  anything else you might want to use on your collage. Glue guns, e-xacto knifes, and more scissors would also be helpful.

This is a free event but donations are always welcome. The Harlow Gallery is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

This event takes place during our annual Young at Art exhibition of artwork by students in grades K-8 from schools in the greater Augusta region, so children are especially welcome (attended by a parent or caregiver please). It will be an enjoyable and creative experience for all!

Made possible by by our season sponsors: Bank of Maine, Dead River Company, the City of Hallowell, Milestone Communications and Kennebec Savings Bank. Please thank all our sponsors for supporting the arts and arts in education!
