Hallowell through History | Model Citizens | July 2012 |
For the month of July the Harlow Gallery presents Hallowell through History, featuring work by member artists of the Kennebec Valley Art Association on the subject of Hallowell, past and present, on view July 6-28, 2012. Hours at the Harlow Gallery are Wednesday-Saturday, noon to 6pm.
The public is invited to the opening celebration of Hallowell through History on Friday, July 6th from 5-8pm also opening that night will be Bill Duffy’s photographic portrait series Model Citizens, on display in the gallery windows). The opening is free and open to the public and refreshments will be available. Come meet the artists!
The Artists of Hallowell has been made possible through the generous financial support of Hallowell’s all volunteer 250th Anniversary Committee. The Harlow Gallery’s 2012 exhibition season has been made possible by season sponsors the Bank of Maine, the City of Hallowell, Dead River Company and Kennebec Savings Bank.
The Harlow Gallery is owned, directed and supported by the Kennebec Valley Art Association (KVAA), a membership based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1959. The KVAA supports the artistic development of our member artists, both amateur and professional, by providing opportunities for exhibition and other professional development at the Harlow Gallery. These include art exhibitions, workshops, lectures, demonstrations and other special events.
