Harlow artists to speak at Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine

On Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 1-2pm at the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine, Michael Dickins & Dawn Martin Dickins of Georgia will be discussing their soon-to-open exhibition at the Harlow Gallery, Raising Two White Boys in the South.  This collaborative, multi-media installation, opening on Friday October 1st from 6-9pm will be a reflection of contemporary Southern thought influenced by deep-rooted tradition, a troubled past, and a desire to both embrace and dispel common stereotypes.

The lecture is free and open to the public.  The Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine is located on campus at the University of Maine at Augusta.
