… because the arts are for everyone.
Arts and culture are the very cornerstones of a vibrant community. They inspire creativity and enhance the quality of life for everyone. The arts have the power to bring people together, to help people understand their similarities and to celebrate their differences.
The Kennebec Valley Art Association invites individuals, families and small businesses who appreciate the way the arts enhance our unique sense of place in central Maine, to join the KVAA as ‘community members’. Our membership program benefits the greater community by underwriting exhibitions and free arts programming for everyone at the Harlow Gallery. Community membership levels start at $25 a year; Complete details on community membership levels and benefits are available here.
Another change: we are now accepting artist memberships on a sliding scale, from $30 – $80. Whether you are joining as a new member or renewing your membership, pay what you can afford, as an individual artist or as a family, (more than one artist living in the same household) and participate in exhibitions and other artists’ opportunities at the Harlow Gallery for one year. Keep in touch with all the events at your community gallery!
The Kennebec Valley Art Association is a 501(c)3 membership-based nonprofit founded in 1958. Annual membership dues are key to ensuring that the Harlow Gallery can continue presenting vibrant and varied arts programing for another 50 years into the future.
