“It Takes a Community: Transforming Violence II” will take place this coming October (Domestic Violence Awareness Month) at the Harlow Gallery. Using the power of art, the exhibition will voice a collective rejection of the use of domestic violence to control and manipulate others, and will challenge our society’s overall acceptance of violence. Transforming Violence II is a partnership between The Harlow Gallery and The Family Violence Project. Together we hope to raise public awareness about the continuing problem of domestic violence in Maine.
