Opportunities For Maine Craft Artists
Craft artists throughout Maine now have new opportunities to expand their businesses. The Kennebec Valley Art Association will sponsor a talk by Lynn Thompson of the Maine Crafts Association on Thursday, March 6 at 7:00 pm in the Harlow Gallery, 160 Water St, Hallowell.

Thompson will present plans for the new Center for Maine Craft currently being constructed on the turnpike at West Gardiner, and talk about other programs involving access to wholesale and retail markets, a new Associates degree in Traditional and Contemporary Craft in the community college system, grants and loans to craft artists and organizations, and more!
