Members of “You the Man” Discussion Panel

Actor Brian Chamberlain has been performing “You The Man” for the past 7 years. It has sent him to parts of the country that he never thought he’d visit and has changed his life in so many positive ways. You the Man has been presented in over 400 communities, 5 different countries and 46 states, and has touched over 140,000 people. Brian trained with The Second City and is a member of Actors Equity, the Screen Actors Guild SAG, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists AFTRA.

Jon Heath is the Director of Education Programs at Family Violence Project in Augusta, the Domestic Violence Resource Center serving Kennebec and Somerset County. The education programs include Menswork, the Certified Batterer Intervention Program for Kennebec and Somerset County. Jon also serves on both Kennebec and Somerset County High Risk Domestic Violence Response Teams, and the respective Task Forces for Kennebec and Somerset County. He was recently invited to serve on the Maine Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Commission, and he is the Co-chair of the Maine Association of Batterer Intervention Programs. Jon is currently a 4th year student in the Mental Health and Human Services program at UMA, and last year Jon completed the Praxis, Manavi 18 month victim advocacy program at the Advocacy Learning Center (ALC) in Minneapolis Minnesota in partnership with the Office on Violence Against Women.

Mike Pike is the Domestic Violence Investigator for the Kennebec and Somerset District Attorney’s Office. Mike is the co-facilitator for the Somerset County Domestic Violence Task Force and also a member of the Somerset High Risk Domestic Violence Response Team. He also serves as the School Resource Officer for the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and is a law enforcement trainer in multiple disciplines including the ODARA (Ontario Domestic Violence Risk Assessment) and Identifying the Predominant Aggressor. Mike is a graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington and Maine Criminal Justice Academy and has over 18 years of law enforcement experience.
