Scott Cowger: the Harlow Gallery is “…the anchor of Hallowell’s cultural scene.”

This is one of a series of interviews with members of the Kennebec Valley Art Association (KVAA), and artists and community members who have been influential in shaping the Harlow Gallery and the KVAA. These short videos by Art Mayers were filmed in 2013, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Harlow Gallery in 1963.

Former board member and volunteer treasurer Scott Cowger talks about putting the Harlow’s financial house in order in the 1990s and how the presence of  the Harlow Gallery has enriched the cultural life of Hallowell.

  1. Hi! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site? I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
