Steve & Sandy Dunn: the Harlow is “… a real asset to the community.”

This is one of a series of interviews with members of the Kennebec Valley Art Association (KVAA), and artists and community members who have been influential in shaping the Harlow Gallery and the KVAA. These short videos by Art Mayers were filmed in 2013, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Harlow Gallery in 1963.

Sandra Leinonen Dunn and Steve Dunn have been long-time members of the KVAA. They served on the board of directors and the art hanging committee.  Steve was president of the Capital Area Camera Club which met at the gallery for many years. Sandy founded our annual Young at Art K-8 exhibition in 2004, since then hundreds of young artists (and their families) have had the opportunity to see their artwork showcased in the gallery’s professional exhibition space.
