Harlow Gallery presents the final event of the 2016 poetry reading series The Bookey Readings at the Harlow, featuring poets Jay Franzel, Claire Hersom and Bob Maclaughlin along with blues musician Patrick Shepard. (Annie Finch will not be able to appear as originally scheduled.) All are invited to attend the event which is on Friday, November 18 beginning at 7pm and all are welcome. Refreshments are served and a $3 donation is appreciated at the door to support programming at the Gallery.
During the reading, guests will enjoy “Doors: Art & Poetry from LINC & WSC” An exhibition featuring the work of artists and poets from the Living in the Community Wellness Center (LINC) in Augusta and the Waterville Social Club (WSC). Art exhibitions at the Harlow Gallery are always free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday 12-6 pm.
The Harlow Gallery is owned and operated by the Kennebec Valley Art Association (KVAA) a 501(c)3 membership based non-profit founded in Augusta in 1958. The mission of the KVAA and the Harlow Gallery is to promote and celebrate art, artists and community.
