“The Bookey Readings” poetry series at the Harlow welcomes Dawn Potter of Harmony, Maine, and Baron Wormser, former Maine Poet Laureate to Hallowell on Friday, September 11 at 7pm. These poets will bring their uniquely intelligent, hard-driving language to bear on closely observed, deeply engaged encounters with the world we all share.
The Harlow Gallery is located at 160 Water Street in Hallowell. The reading starts at 7pm. A $3 donation to benefit the Harlow Gallery is appreciated at the door. Refreshments are served. Join us!

During the reading guests will enjoy “Traces: Vanishing Landscapes” on view August 28-September 19, 2015 at the Harlow Gallery, “Traces: Vanishing Landscapes” presents the visions of three Maine artists who examine what is left behind as the state’s economy modernizes and shifts. Gallery hours are Wednesday -Saturday, 12-6 pm and free to the public.
The Harlow Gallery, a membership based 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to connecting and celebrating art, artists and community in downtown historic Hallowell since 1963, was recently voted “Best Gallery in Maine” for 2015 by the readers of Down East Magazine.
