The Harlow Gallery continues their Professional Development Series on Sunday, June 11 from 5-7pm with a professional writing workshop lead by Hallowell resident Matt Scease. This workshop is FREE for Harlow Gallery members, $10 for non-members.
Do you tear your hair out whenever you have to write something longer than an email? Don’t know if you’re doing it right? Feel like your artist’s statement or bio doesn’t quite capture it all? Together, participants will go through some guided writing exercises, review best practices for writing clearly and concisely, and focus on your particular questions and areas of concern. This workshop will be shaped around the collective needs of the participants. Mathew Scease has been writing professionally for 20 years for Maine’s environmental and social justice nonprofits.
